When: Practices run weekly from September to February. The Regional Competition happens in February, if we qualify Nationals are hosted in Washington DC in late April.
Who: All Pullman High School students are welcome to try-out for the Science Bowl Team, 15 students and two alternates will be chosen to represent PHS in September.
What: A high-pressure team buzz-in tournament! Science Bowl has increasingly difficult questions through each round of play based off of the following categories: physics, chemistry, biology, math, energy, astronomy, and earth science.
How: To join, students must fill out this registration form and talk to Coach Brown. To compete, players must keep a 3.5 GPA and attend all but two practices leading up to regionals (unless an emergency occurs) and commit to the Inland Northwest Regional Competition and (hopefully) the National Competition. Team captains must commit to taking on a leadership role within the team.
